Magickal Hymn for Primal Craft (Lucifer, Belial, & Hecate)

This magickal hymn calls upon the Trident– Hecate, Lucifer, and Belial– which Trident is comprised of the primary divinities of Primal Craft as codified by Mark Allan Smith in his series of grimoires. The Trident has become integral to the modern Draconian Tradition or Draconian Current as well, and is most importantly one of the largest influences of my friend Yuri M.

A lot of my articles about deities and gods feature original sigils. If these sigils are of my invention, they appear in lackluster artistic representation on paper and are photographed via cellphone. My sigils are, of course, entirely effective, but the ones designed by Yuri M. are the ones I display with pride. I only recently (i.e. yesterday) decided to upload my hand-drawn sigils to a handful of older articles for demons and gods that lacked sigils. As confident as I am in the efficacy of what I create, I was shy to display my drawing skills in full array until now.

This magickal hymn was clearly more important than ones I’ve written before in that it was a gift to a valued friend and a contribution to a wondrous tradition. I made an entire ritual out of consecrating it, which I have never done in the past. I called on Hecate, Aradia, Lucifer, and Belial to empower it.

My magickal hymns may be used for any intention selected by the celebrant. They can be integrated into any ritual to call on the deities named to empower the rite or empower oneself. My magickal hymns can be recited without any added ritual for a specified intent as miniature self-empowerment exercises– one of the advantages of reciting some of my hymns in times when a full ritual cannot be performed is that these hymns will strengthen your energetic resonance with its deities, making it easier to call forth, perceive, and communicate with said deities.

Lykania is the TotBL’s name for Hecate’s lycanthropic aspect, which aspect the TotBL claims is specific to the 218 Current (its tradition). I have always said that currents, as defined in this context, do not exist at all, and the inclusion of a clearly identical lycanthropic aspect of Hecate in Queen of Hell by Mark Allan Smith lends evidence to this standing assertion of mine. Allu is the given title for Hecate’s hellhounds (called Kunes Aidao in Greek).

Queen of Hell makes the assertion that Belial is the same entity as Beelzebuth, and I have verified the accuracy of said assertion with my own guiding spirits, although I doubted it at first. Hence the name Baal Zebul is used in reference to Belial in my hymn alongside Belial’s alternate names Beliar and Belias. Alternate names for Lucifer appear as well, including Lucifero, Lumial, and Lucibel. I am sure you will find this of use.

The Conjuration of Belial’s Hordes

{This ritual calls forth the Sons of Darkness, being the spirits which serve Belial Mortifer known also as Meterbuchus, which spirits are deathly and destructive in aptitude. This ritual can be used to exterminate a spirit or group of spirits who haunts a given location as well as any spirits which have been dispatched to bedevil the witch}

Agios Belias Rex Bohu (x11) [Numinous (is) King Belias of Emptiness]
Filii Tenebrarum Triumphantes (x11) [Arise Triumphant Sons of Darkness]

I call forth the Sons of Darkness who operate as the emissaries of Belial, the Death-Bearing Lord Over This World who resides within the Sulphurous Sphere of Planet Saturn. The Mortiferous and Malevolent Legions of Beliar saturate the astral plane in the bloodshed stains of those spirits which seek to oppose the Black Lodge and Havayoth.

Hail now unto the Sons of Darkness who crusade throughout the Cosmos in violence and predation under the dictates of Beliar.

Beliar, Belu, Belial (x6) (names of Belial)

(specify the targets whom you wish the Sons of Darkness to pursue and whether you want them maimed, killed, or simply banished)

Mortifer Draconis Meterbuchus (x8) (names of Belial)

Ra Sha Belial (x8) (Koetting’s chant of Belial)

Descend now, Sanguinary Legions! Manifest unto this planet and sow my intentions in blood!

Agilleath Tiddehmos Tlyfos Belial (x11) (chant calling Belial’s hordes)

Ritual to Belial

The celebrant is to face the North if possible and place the sigil of Belial in the chamber. If a sigil is unavailable (note: never hesitate to make your own), the witch should visualize the sigil as clearly and consistently as she can can as she chants the repeated magickal formulas. Phrases in italics are to be chanted while those in bold are to be vibrated. Translations appear in brackets. The first underlined mantra is the Song of Belial from the Book of Azazel by E. A. Koetting. The second underlined phrase is a chant to praise Belial from Book of Belial by Asha’Shedim. The third underlined phrase is his enn or calling phrase. Candles should adorn the altar if possible and incense may be lit. At two points in the ritual, the witch is to make a request for empowerment: any requests concerning wealth or employment, physical fitness, combat skills, aptitude in necromancy or some other kind of witchcraft, vampyric power and/or magnetism, magickal power in general, the refinement of one’s psychic senses or a specified psychic sense, or any other blessing with the witch considers appropriate regarding the nature of Belial. Beliar, Beliel, Belias, and Meterbuchus are different names of Belial. Mortifer, meaning Death-Bearer, is both a title of Belial and the name of a great tower in the Qliphoth/Hell, and Sitra Achara [Other Side] and Acharayim [Backwards Tree] are alternate names from the Qliphoth. Bohu or Emptiness is the Second Veil before the primordial plane of Satan and Belial is its ruler. Humor that another few words be defined: Anados [ascent], Adamas Ater [Black Diamond (the Qliphothic Philosopher’s Stone)], Bewinged [having wings], Alchemy [the art of self-transformation], Sortilege [witchcraft], Slaughterous [causing slaughter], nigrescent [black], Pyric [fiery], telluric [earthly], myriad [many]. The witch may alter this rite in any way she pleases.

Beliar, Belu, Belial (x6)
Agios Belias Rex Bohu (x11) [Divine Belias King of Bohu]

The Demonic Begetter of the Sons of Darkness who scour the astral planes for the wretched servants of the Sephiroth is the Gatekeeper to Sitra Achara. He is the entity who I honor tonight and whom I implore to bestow his blessings upon me! The King of the World and Bearer of Death is a Bewinged Harbinger of Alchemy and Sortilege who is known as Mortifer-Belial.

Ra Sha Belial
Agios o Belial [Belial is Divine]
Iaus Belial

Agios ischyros Belial [Belial is Mighty and Divine]

Beliar is the Slaughterous Wyvern God whose Empire is known as Bohu. The Eternal Warlord Beliel rules that Nigrescent Empire of Blackness and Flame which is known as the tower of Mortifer– that infernal fortified monarchy wherefrom necromantic violent serpents descend to the horror of humanity.  His name is Emperor Belial whose talons drip with the blood of those who offend the Elevenfold Gods.

Mortifer Draconis Meterbuchus (x7) [Death-Bearing Dragon Meterbuchus]

Veniat ad me, Belial Rex Mundis (x3) [Come to me, Belial King of the Earth]

Belial, I would ask this of you: (specify request).

The Scorpion God known as Beliel is a Harbinger of the anados and dehumanization which paves the way for the Adamas Ater that the sorcerer is known to crave. I pray that the Pyric Telluric Emperor of that Second Veil called Emptiness recognizes me (SPEAK YOUR NAME) as his humble disciple and imparts his power and tutelage to me. It is my destiny to become an adept through the myriad pathways of Sitra Achara so that I might become immortal.

Beliar, Belu, Belial (x6)
Rex Mortifer, Veniat ad Me (x3)
(Rex Mortifer means both/either Death-Bearing King and/or King of Mortifer)

Belial, I would ask this of you also: (specify request).

Lirach tasa vefa wehlic Belial
Beliar, Belu, Belial

Rex Mortifer, Veniat ad Me

I honor the Death-Monarch who presides over necromancy and atavism from within the Plane of Hell and the Infernal Sun of  Blackness which is known to man as Sitra Achara. I follow the Goetic Ruler of Alchemy and request the blessings of him.

Agios o Belial

(If the witch has a third request, the time to recite it is now)

Agios ischyros Belial! Mortifer Draconis Meterbuchus! Veniat ad me, Belial Rex Mundis! Ra Sha Belial!  Agios Belias Rex Bohu!  Beliar, Belu, Belial!

As I have spoken, so let it be done!
Hail to the Black God Meterbuchus! Agios o Belial!

(If it was spiritual empowerment that you requested, take a moment to silently meditate as your essence is refined and do not leave until you are satisfied. Command your aura to welcome influence of Emperor Belial)

Second, it can presence destructive energy to spread conflict and discord throughout the target zone. Third, it can be used to open the gate to the Northern Tower of Khaos, being an infernal province Belial rules.

Belial is the Qliphothic Witch-God and Guardian of the Gate who rules over the physical plane and the Northern Tower of Chaos– an initiator and demon of enlightenment. Alongside Lucifer and Hecate, he is a member of the Atlantean Trident of the Draconian Tradition.

Belial is the Serpent God and Mortifer or Bearer of Death who is recorded in traditional demonology to be the Ambassador to Turkey for some reason. The demon is considered an excellent mentor in sorcery and highly reliable psychopomp who is knowledgeable regarding many secret alchemical praxes. He is a destroying god of war and death whose auspices and guidance are desirable in the arts of necromancy, vampyrism, and execration.

Belial is a prolific shapeshifter known to manifest as two figures illustrating diametric opposites. He commonly assumes appearances like skeletal figures and draconic anthropoids, but will manifest as human on occasion– he’ll even shapeshift to a human form in front of you if you’re upset and open up to him. It is generally agreed upon that Belial is a harsh master, but he is known to be understanding as well.

Belial is stoic in his compassion, but he is definitely caring, and he always has my back. It is no wonder that he is a renowned protector of witches.

Abrahamic demonology describes Belial as a spirit of hostility, lawlessness, trickery, sin, and fornication– the acting patron of heretics and polytheists who is said to have instructed Egyptians in sorcery (note: Egyptians referred to Egypt as Kemet or Khem, which is where the word “alchemy” comes from). The demon embodies the beauty of the Earth and teaches us to see the beauty in all things. According to S. Conolly, he typifies a balance between mental, physical, and spiritual consciousness.

Belial is widely viewed as the quintessential earth elemental, but there is more to him than that. He has a less well-known attribution to fire as well. Mark Allan Smith has claimed that Belial is a Triple God. He is listed amongst the Nine Demonic Divinities, the Three Rulers of the Trans-Qliphothic Veils, the Nine Kings of the Goetia, the Four Cardinal Princes, and the Nine Demonic Gatekeepers. Certain entries in Hebrew scripture predicted that Belial would attempt to impersonate Jesus to manipulate the Samaritans, which I imagine would be hilarious.

Belial is attributed to the Uranian Qlipha as well as the Trans-Qliphothic Veil directly above it. The demon known as Abaddon is said to rule the Moires/Fates, which very same spirits are said to manifest alongside Belial with frequency. Belial and Abaddon were among the Four Demonic Gatekeepers which E.A. Koetting before preceding to remain oblivious to the fact that there were five other gatekeepers this entire time and changing the number to nine.

Belial is gifted in granting occupational and political ascent to the witch. He rules achievement, autonomy, and independence, and brings about many friends and popularity. He presides over warriors and murderers, and he can be called upon to bestow aggression upon the witch. He is considered a god of war and a harbinger of anarchy who can incite targets to fury and rage. Belial is said to appear on fields of battle, a god of war, surrounded by ravens and creatures of prey.

Belial is said to be knowledgeable regarding the mysteries of self-sacrifice. He is known to manifest accompanied by Lucifer– the two collaborate so extensively that they are almost interchangeable.

While some traditional demonology records Belial as a bloated demonic man-dragon, I have witnessed his black man-dragon aspect as muscular rather than bloated. Belial has also been described as a Caucasian male whose long hair is black with white tips, and I have seen this aspect as well. On a couple occasions, I have seen Belial appear as a simple anthropoid made of shadow. Belial also appeared to me in a vision as a red-furred four-legged beast (a big cat) which a pointed black tail and sharp fangs.

The writings of Michael W. Ford, S. Conolly, and E. A. Koetting all record that Belial demands sacrifice upon evocation, usually sexual, though Koetting records a requirement for blood. Oddly enough, when I was summoning a group of demons (Winter Solstice), and I intended to give my offerings to all of them, Belial told me to divide his would-be offering among the other spirits.

Mark Allan Smith asserted that Belial was the same entity as Baelzebuth. While Smith is, from what I’ve seen, thoroughly trustworthy, I scoffed at the idea until my demons told me he was correct, and I saw the same thing asserted in ToAF literature. I have put no information about Baelzebuth in this article, nor is there any information about Belial in my article about Baelzebuth. This has been done for the sake of persons who do not agree that Baelzebuth = Belial so they can still benefit from my article as much as possible. I have no intention to even speculate about Bael, Belphagore, etc. and their relationship to Belial. I highly doubt I or anyone reading this will ever find the whole truth on the matter. Mysteries like this are why people come up with bullshit about spirituality being subjective, demons being your own consciousness, all demons being interchangeable, etc. That type of pseudo-intellectual shit convinces them that they understand something that most of us really won’t get a grip on until we are dead.

Belial is attributed to Ghagiel in literature which predates Smith’s.
