Hann Valar is a Grand Chief of demons who serves under Adrammelech. He’s attributed to the planet Saturn, and he holds authority in the Qliphothic spheres known as Ghagiel (Uranus/Beelzebuth) and Samael (Mercury/Adrammelech). Adrammelech introduced me to this demon so I could create a cursed book with his power. I decided to ask Nina Daniela, Augustus Grigori, and DancingCorpseWitch to approach this demon as well so that the four of us could combine our gnosis into a single essay.

Hann Valar is a great illusionist with something of a trickster-spirit aspect to him. When Augustus Grigori sought a sigil for this demon, the demonic spirit presented the man with a variety of sigils that were not his, only giving his true sigil once Augustus sensed that the sigils being presented to him were not truly of Hann Valar.

It is my gnosis that Hann Valar is attributed to the element of earth. Nina’s gnosis is that he is attributed to the element of air. DancingCorpseWitch attributes him primarily to air, secondarily to earth, and thirdly to fire. The entry-level mantra Lyl Nah Ee Lah Dock can be used to meditate with Hann Valar to undergo the alchemy of the element of earth. I would imagine that the demon brought up his earthy attribute with me because I need a little earth in my life.

Hann Valar appeared to me as a yellow serpent-dragon with six legs and a tail like a stegosaurus. Nina Daniela saw him manifest as a tall, vampyric-looking male with silver-blonde hair. Augustus Grigori saw him manifest as a sugar cane plantation owner. He appeared to DancingCorpseWitch as a reaper-like figure formed from ever-swirling black and grey smoke, with glowing eyes that shifted in color from red, to blue, to purple.

The various summoners have described this demonic Grand Chief as classy, generous, considerate, strict, impatient, well-mannered, and kind. He told Nina that he wants ceremony when he is to be summoned. This demon is a charming one– he can gain the trust of Occult practitioners, get them to lower their guard, and then reveal his destructive nature by destroying them.

He can help the sorceress learn to control and work with her thoughts, as he rules over the subconscious. He can show the witch how her negative mental constructs affect her everyday life and help her consciously remember lost information. He governs artistic creation, and he can make the witch aware of her subconscious fears. He can help the practitioner confront her failures, her flaws, and the obstacles to her personal development.

Hann Valar is a great spirit to work with for psychic attack, drowning his victims in madness, psychosis, paranoia, and fear. He can rip a practitioner’s astral double out of their body and imprison it. He has a talent for nasty hexes and cursework. The act of performing cursework with Hann Valar can be an offering to said demon in and of itself.

The witch may work with Hann Valar to create a baneful ward around a given place– that is to say, a ward that not only blocks harmful spellwork, but also harms its caster. To do this, chant Nahlee Vavoor Or with intent twelve times while inside the location that the ward is intended to protect.

DancingCorpseWitch noted that Hann Valar can help the sorceress work with the ghosts that reside in the Mercurial Qlipha receiving demonic instruction until the time comes for them to reincarnate, and she was exactly right. The cursed book that Hann Valar was helping me make calls on the demons and ghosts of the sphere of Samael to harm one’s enemies.

Bones from the corpses of foxes and cats can be offered to Hann Valar, as can lavender and patchouli incense. Joyous celebrations can be offered to him, and so can the suffering of others (note: this can include consensual BDSM). He also likes offerings of dandelion, roses, chocolate, red wine, and cigar smoke. DancingCorpseWitch listed the “offerings/miscellaneous attributions” of the Grand Chief as vodka, toadflax, arjuna, carnelian, sunstone, obsidian, opoponax incense, amber incense, strong and spicy teas, and sex offered to him with his approval. DCW and Nina both noted his love for offerings of blood.

The all-purposed summoning chant I have received for this spirit is Nonnar Dah Aygarr. The reaper-specific summoning chant I received for him is Ayvea Vavah Halah. The summoning chant specific to his draconic aspect that I have received is Vahloor Ahm Aynar. He also gave me a summoning chant for his female aspect, known as Hozz Vaymahdah, which none of us have approached: Adarah Ahl Ayzarr.

Agios Octinomos-Drakosophia

The Rite of the Ascended Black Magickians

This ritual calls upon former humans who practiced demon magick in life and ascended to become demonic immortals/ascended masters to impart guidance, alchemical ascent, and worldly blessings to the celebrant. These are specifically persons who died and ascended during or adjacent to our lifetimes: namely, Joshua Savage, Jon Nödtveidt, and S. Rasmussen. Greet them with amble offerings.

I have designed this rite for a simple reason: I want the practitioners of demon magick who passed in our time to be immortalized in black magickal literature– they deserve it, so I have written this rite as a means of preserving their memory. The rite calls upon HVHI, the metagod composed of the eleven Qliphothic Overlords, to empower the evocation. The names of said metagod which are specific to the 218 tradition (Azerate & El Acher) are incorporated out of respect for Nödtveidt.

Sigils, opening rites, candles, ritual music, and magickal equipment may be incorporated into the performance of the rite at the discretion of the celebrant. Phrases appearing in italics are to be chanted (recited in a rhythmic monotone a given number of times), and the word which appears in bold is to be vibrated. Translations of foreign phrases appear in brackets and explanations appear in parentheses.

The Draconian Rite of the Archangels

This ritual calls upon Ariel, Michael, Cassiel, and Gabriel to manifest in their draconic aspects for a threefold purpose. Firstly, the ritual begets a holistic magickal empowerment. Secondly, it permanently bolsters the celebrant’s courage and strength of heart. Thirdly, it serves to empower the mind. The practitioner may incorporate the usage of sigils, candles, incense, offerings, opening rites, and other magickal equipment at their own discretion. Phrases which appear in italics are magickal chants which are meant to be recited in a rhythmic monotone a given number of times. Translations of foreign phrases will appear in brackets.

Ave Cassiel! Ave Michael! Ave Ariel! Ave Gabriel!
[Hail Cassiel! Hail Michael! Hail Ariel! Hail Gabriel]

I call unto these angels. Come to me, great spirits. Show me your draconic forms. Tear away my weakness and fill me with strength. Grant me blessings and enlightenment.
