Above: Magickally Charged Depiction of Aym by G.A.R.
Aym is the Light-Bringer and the Death-Caller. He speaks wisdom from the darkest places and through those who would seem to be your enemies. He grants knowledge of power, initiation, and the Black Light of the Nightside. He spurns the infantile summoner as well as those who think that they can dissolve their existence after death.
Aym begets transformation via what he called “service to secret black trades,” which I would imagine relate to criminality. He imparts power to those who call him and transforms all things through the increasement of their numinosity. He seeks out all those who would pursue knowledge of darkness and involve themselves in the dark side of spirituality.
Aym imparts creativity, wit, cunningness, shrewdness, and adroitness in deception. He gives insight into the unknown and imparts knowledge of biology. His auspices are of use in dreamwalking and working with the transpersonal chakras.
Above: Channeled Sigil of Aym
Aym is the warrior of the Qliphoth who purged the Nightside of whatever my spirit guide referred to as “those false prophets.” If you presence Qliphothic energies for the wrong reasons, Aym will wipe out those energies. He is said to be able to create destruction via flame, to the degree of setting buildings and even cities alight– Rufus Opus purports that this applies both literally and metaphorically (i.e., “setting the nation on fire”).
Aym opens the way to the dark passages of Thaumiel as well as its four great cities. His influence causes black magickians to divest themselves of disadvantageous cognitive rigidity. He presides over lethal curses, shadow work, astral magick, draconic magick, astral projection, the empowerment of the astral double, skrying, the art of working with tree spirits, and the use and creation of portals.
