Chax can be called upon to remove or grant understanding, perception, and memory. He can attune the target or witch to her emotions and make her self-aware. He can align one to her Higher Self, True Will, physis, and personal wyrd and tune her in to her astral double, love, clairvoyance, and clairaudience.

Scox can give aid in shadowmancy, mirrormancy, nature magick, pyromancy, rune-casting, hydromancy, skrying and tarot divination. He can initiate the witch into fairy magick and nature magick.

Shax appeared to me as a grey, bald, humanoid form with unusual bodily proportions– his hands were small, his limbs were short and thin, and his head was very large. His eyes were entirely red and his robes entirely black. He has acted goofy in order to make me laugh.

Shass imparts desirable familiars and reveals hidden truths. He can divest the well-to-do of their money and engender the temporary acquisition of desiderata. He is useful in reverse engineering things and predicting the future releases of rival corporations. He can also orchestrate escapes.

Stephany Conolly puts it like this: Shax can bring you blessings in general– that could mean that you suddenly figure out how to get what you want (or that your circumstances become conducive to the acquisition) or that non-material desiderata can be suddenly imparted to you by the demon, and often times, these gifts are received at random by magickians interacting with Shax. Shax might, however, divest you of things temporarily until you learn to appreciate or treat them appropriately.

Magickal Chants

Liftoach Pandemonium, Et Germinet Chax

Ritual to Machaloth

{This ritual calls upon Machaloth/Mahlat to fulfill a specified request(s). One of the major sources of the rite’s power is name vibration: two seven-name vibration lists appear in the ritual. While half of the names in these vibration lists are clearly just variations of Machaloth’s name, the other half are invented magickal names which can be used to refer to and vibrated to call upon any demon. The magickal phrase which is presented in italics is to be chanted, i.e. recited in a slow and rhythmic way. Translations of foreign phrases appear in brackets, and explanations appear in parentheses. My rituals focus heavily upon magickal chants and words of power so that they are able to generate large amounts of power even in the absence of ceremonial equipment, incense, etc. If witchcraft materials are available to the celebrant, they may (and should) be incorporated however she deems fit}

Agios Octinomos-Drakosophia!

Magickal Hymn to Michael

This magickal hymn calls upon Michael, known also as Mikhail and Michahel, for any determined purpose– such as magickal self-empowerment, the strengthening of chakras, or the sharpening of the spiritual senses. A magickal hymn can be added to any rite or used as a spiritual exercise in and of itself. I would recommend that this hymn, if being used on its own, be recited either three or seven times.

From what I can tell, most archangels are self-determined entities who are willing to work with black magickians, Occultists, witches, etc. Michael has appeared to me many times, twice helping me in spiritual combat, once helping me compose a magickal chant, but usually to give me much-needed and very accurate advice. While his presence was always helpful and his insight was always good, Michael’s presence always felt like an intrusion to me– a latent threat. Fortunately, I have improved my understanding of things, and have left behind my old black-and-white conception of the gods. Every article I’ve read about Michael has gushed about how loyal, protective, and helpful he was– these descriptions match my experience, and I’m a fucking black magickian. I despise Jehovah and Michael knows this, but he has had my back again and again regardless of the fact that I didn’t even respect him or want him to be present. All the articles I’ve read say that Michael is here for EVERYONE– all religions. So without further adieu, here is the magickal hymn I have dedicated to him.

Veni, Veni, Sancte Michael Archangele
Voco te Mikail– Invoco Archistrategos
Princeps Gloriosissime Caelestis Militia
Venire Regulus Michahel, Germinet Gnosis
Veni, O Veni, Aperiatur Caeli
Salve Michahel, Princeps De Seraphim
Agios Ischyros Dynastes Michael!
[Come, Come, Holy Archangel Michael/ I Call to Mikail– I Call to the Archangel/ Glorious Prince of the Celestial Militia/ Come, King Michahel, and Engender Spiritual Revelation/ Come, Oh Come, Open Up the Sky/ Hail Michahel, Prince of Seraphim/ Numinous and Mighty is Lord Michael]

Michael’s Sephirothic attributions are to Hod (Mercury) and Tiphereth (Sun), and his zodiac attributions are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. His color is red, his element is fire, and noon and Summer are apt for him. He engenders healing, courage, determination, motivation, guidance, organization, dependability, leadership, and stability. He rules over matrimony and music. He doesn’t discriminate when it comes to religion. Legend says that he gave Solomon his ring. His directions are the north and the south. His sacred dates are Sep 29, Nov 8, Nov 21, Sep 6, & May 8.

Meditations on Mephistophiles

This article serves to analyze Chief Duke Mephistophiles, best known in Demonolatry as Mesphito, the Keeper of the Book of Death, through the esotericisms of demonology, Qabbalah, and Greek magick. This is a very deep look into demonology which may not be suitable or helpful for beginners.
We know from grimoires modern and medieval alike that Mephistophiles (often called Mesphito) is a real demon, and a powerful one at that. Well, believe it or not, Doctor Faust was a real person. He was an infamous alchemist, blasphemer, astrologist, magickian, necromancer, and sodomite who once allegedly tricked a local chaplain into rubbing arsenic on his own face. Countless medieval grimoires are attributed to the teachings of Doctor Faust, just like many grimoires are attributed to the teachings of Solomon and Moses.
Faust lived around the time that the printing press was invented, so while we do have stories about his exploits, our sources aren’t entirely reliable, and the fictitious adaptations of his life, both in theater and literature, are abundant.
Faust was the quintessential Renaissance blasphemer. His name was adduced constantly during the religious debates of the time, and he ran into legal trouble rather frequently. He was a magickian who made of himself a sensation, sort of like Aleister Crowley and Anton LaVey. There are even several blatantly spurious legends recorded which purport to originate as anecdotes of the demonstrations of Faust’s power. The following two hyperlinks will take you to Faust’s wikipedia article and my first essay on Mesphito.
Mephistophiles in Qliphothic Qabbalah

Mesphito is attributed to two of the Qliphoth’s Spheres, namely the third and the fifth. Three multiplied by five gives us 15, the number of the fifteenth tarot card (the Devil).  The fifteenth tarot is attributed to the twenty-sixth pathway* of the Qliphoth, which just so happens to be the pathway which connects the two Qliphas that Mesphito is attributed to. 26 (2 + 6) gives us 8, as do the third and fifth spheres added together (3 + 5). 8 is a number attributed to the planet Mercury and the Philosopher’s Stone, and it’s the number of faces on an octahedron (the Platonic solid attributed to Mercury). An octahedron has eight faces, twelve edges, and six vertices: 8 + 12 + 6 = 26, which is again the number of the path between the Qliphothic spheres which Mesphito is attributed to.

8 and 15 are the two numbers given to us by the two spheres that Mesphito is attributed to, and I have demonstrated that the path between these spheres relates to both of these numbers as well. Multiplied together, 8 & 15 give us 120. 120 is the mystic number of the star and the mystic quality of the number 5, giving us the pentagram, a sign of the Great Work (note: 8 also symbolizes the Great Work). 120 is also the numerical value of the Hebrew letter Samekh when it is spelled out as a Hebrew word (note: it is in Liber Samekh that Crowley delineates the Rite of the Bornless One, an adversary-oriented rite to invoke the Higher Self which was written to precede workings with the demons of the Goetia). Blood is sometimes esoterically interpreted as a sign of the Great Work, and 120 days is the life span of a red blood globule (note: one of Mesphito’s names in the grimoires is Hemostophile).

Now let’s talk about the spheres specifically. First, Mesphito is attributed to Samael and Glasyalabolas, Buer, Adrammelech, and Amon (lesser attribution). Secondly, Mesphito is attributed to Thagirion alongside Claunech, Sorath, Belphagore, Paimon (lesser attribution), Amy, and Merihim.

The light of the Black Sun of Thagirion is the guiding influence which orients the Black Moon of Gamaliel. This is why Mammon, the foremost emissary of Gamaliel, is believed to enact the agendas of Sorath, the true offspring of Thagirion. Samael, the Mercurious Qlipha, is the sphere which imparts the Black Sun’s guidance to Gamaliel.* So, Mesphito is attributed to both this guiding influence of the Black Moon and the medium of its provision.

*This is the same pathway that Marbas and A’ano’nin are attributed to.
**Within Gamaliel dwell Mammon, Lilith, Qalilitu, Verrine, Buer, and Orias.

The Initiatory Force of Mephistophiles

One of the leading authorities of Traditional Demonolatry, S. Conolly (the S. stands for “Stephany,” by the way) has recorded the esoteric meaning of the name Beelzebuth revealed to her by Beelzebuth itself. While the literal translation of the name is “Lord of the Flies,” its esoteric meaning is “Lord of All that Flies.” This is a reference to Beelzebuth’s patronage of aeronautical engineering, meterology, and aerospace engineering sky machines. Mesphito has more than nineteen name variations in the medieval grimories, and we’re going to attempt some esoteric name interpretation.

One of Mesphito’s names in the grimoires is Memostophiles, with Mem being the Hebrew word for water. Mem is the 23rd Hebrew letter, and 23 = 15 + 8 (these are the two numbers given by adding and multiplying the third and fifth Qliphothic spheres). Mem, as a word, means “water,” and the value of the Hebrew phrase “your water,” a phrase denoting god-given sustenance in the Bible, is 120, the number we got by multiplying 15 (3 x 5) and 8 (3 + 5). In the Golden Dawn,*** the stage of initiation attributed to the sphere of Mercury is called “the water grade” in reference to the “nurturing waters of [the Sephira of Mercury]” and the tarot card attributed to Mem is the Hanged Man.

The Hanged Man the card of self-sacrifice. It represents an accomplishment of the Great Work which is misconstrued by the uninitiated as martyrdom. The figure in the tarot card is depicted hanging from the Hebrew letter Tau, which Hebrew letter is considered to have been the Mark of Qayin (Qayin/Cain being the first Ascended Master of the Black Lodge) and is attributed to the thirty-second path of the Qliphoth, basically signifying the start of a new cycle of initiatory demon magick.

***Based on the consistent similarities between the recorded experiences of Niners working with the Tree of Wyrd, practitioners of demon magick working with the Qliphoth, and white magickians working with the Sephiroth, I have concluded that Hod, Samael, and Utarid are all just different approaches to working with the planetary sphere of Mercury

My attribution of Mesphito to the card of self-sacrifice via esoteric name-analysis is actually verified by a synchronicity in psychodynamic therapy. According to Wikipedia, “Psychodynamic therapy uses the idea of a Faustian bargain to explain defence mechanisms, usually rooted in childhood, that sacrifice elements of the self in favor of some form of psychical survival.” (Note: obviously psychodynamic theory uses the metaphor of Faust’s bargain in a negative light).

So, the initiatory influence of Memostophiles is that of an apotheosis misconstrued by outsiders as death. So, when the fictitious legend of Faust concludes with the (perceived) accidental death of the sorcerer, we can infer what really happened. The cause of Faust’s death, having been perceived as coming about due to an accidental result of the explosive gases used in alchemy, is simply the common man’s interpretation of Faust’s achievement of magickal immortality. After all, Memostophiles correlates to the initiatory stage of the Sphere of Mercury, and it just so happens that the alchemical substance attributed to Mercury is explosive gas.

Mephistophiles as a God of Mercury

In The Book of Mephisto, Asenath Mason forwards the notion that Mesphito is a an spirit of Mercury. While I adore Asenath Mason’s literature, I feel that she very much oversimplified Mesphito in more ways than by her mere avoidance of Mesphito’s other Qliphothic and other planetary attribution. She focused far more heavily on fictitious renditions of the story of Faust than the depictions of Mesphito within the grimoires, and when she did address the spirit’s description in grimoiric demonology she focused entirely on the medieval tradition, neglecting the wonderful yet admittedly sparse insights into Mesphito provided by modern black magickians such as J. Thorp.

Nonetheless, I am pressed to agree with Mason’s attribution to the Mercurial Qlipha and the planet of Mercury itself.

Two of the three animal forms which Mephistophiles takes in the grimoires I’ve read (modern and old alike), which forms include a toad, a bear, and a dog, are symbols of Ophiel, the Olympic Spirit of Mercury. A medieval grimoire’s description of Mesphito as a bald man in a black cape seemed, in my opinion, reminiscient of a recorded appearance of Ophiel as a man in a black cloak. The medieval-grimoiric description of Mesphito as an approachable, youthful man lines up with the appearance of the Greek God of Mercury. Moreover, the magickal powers of Mephistophiles provided in the medieval grimoires completely match the powers given to those two entities of Mercury.

One of the speculative etymologies of Megastophiles and Mephistophiel, two of Mesphito’s names in the grimoires, is “Megist Ophiel” or “the Great Ophiel.” This interpretation makes far more sense than the unfortunately more common comparison of the name Mephistophiles to “Mephitis,” the name of a goddess who rules over stench.

In conclusion, Mesphito is a divinity of Mercury both inside and outside of Qliphothic sorcery. In contrast, while Mesphito is attributed to Jupiter by a medieval grimoire unrelated to Qabbalah, he has no recorded attribution to the Qlipha of Jupiter in grimoires which incorporate Qabbalah.

A demon’s attribution to Qliphothic planetary spheres usually does not match their attribution to planets outside of Qabbalah. For example, while Amducious and Vassago are both attributed to Thaumiel (Neptune & Pluto/Moloch & Satan), neither of them are attributed to Pluto outside of the Qliphoth. The only two demons I can think of who are attributed to the Qliphothic spheres of planets that they are attributed to outside of the Qliphoth are Buer an Glasyalabolas. Interestingly enough, Buer and Glasyalabolas are both attributed to Samael (Mercury/Adrammelech). We might be building evidence of a trend.

Update: I decided to find out once and for all whether Ophiel and Mephistophiles were the same entity. I channeled the gnosis that the two spirits were indeed the same, and publicly requested that other black magickians seek their own gnosis regarding the matter and get back to me. My gnosis that Ophiel = Mesphito, being a confirmation of scholarly speculation, was confirmed by three other witches who didn’t know my opinion on the matter.

Mephistophiles and Jupiter

While it has been easy for me to draw much meaning from Mesphito’s attributions to the Qliphothic Spheres of Mercury and the Black Sun, I was at a loss as to what meaning I could draw from his non-Qliphothic planetary attribution to Jupiter, but the very first article I read about Jupiter easily reconciles Mesphito’s attribution to both it and the Sphere of the Black Sun. The article calls Jupiter “the elder king, giving way to the new solar king” and “a Sun that has never ignited” which “radiates not physical light, but the spiritual light of illumination.” Jupiter, like the Sphere of the Black Sun, is attributed to both the guru and the inner teacher. You may read that article here:

Since Mesphito usually described as one of the highest authorities of the Infernal Divine, and since he is renowned for being really fucking powerful and really fucking nice, it makes sense for him to be attributed to Jupiter, and as far as non-Qliphothic planetary attributions go, Jupiter is as good of an equivalent of the mixture of the influences of the Mercurial and Black-Solar Qliphas as I can think of.

Mephistophiles and Baphomet

In Path of Satan, Mesphito is attributed to the seventh letter of “the infernal alphabet,” being K. Apollo is attributed to the seventh Greek letter, Epsilon. Epsilon is attributed to Mercury, and K corresponds to the Hebrew letter Kaf, being the source of the K in magick– a symbol of the Great Work attributed to Mercury. K, as Mesphito is attributed to it, is both 7 and 8, lending 15 (the fifteenth tarot card, the Devil) and 56, a number of the Great Work.

The Baphomet of Eliphas Levi, being the model for the Devil as depicted in Atu XV, is also known as Octinomos insofar as (s)he is a symbol of the Great Work. The numbers of Atu XV and Octinomos add and multiply to give us 23 and 120 again, equating Mesphito to the Goat of Mendes in terms of alchemical signification. Despite Baphomet’s attribution to Mercury, it is believed that the state of adepthood illustrated by Baphomet is attained in the Sphere of the Sun, so it can be said that Mesphito represents the black magickal equivalent of this same attainment.

Mephistophiles, Lucifuge, and Lucifer

Lucifer, who is attributed to Venus and the Sun (he has no known attribution in the Qliphoth), is considered the counterpart of Mesphito. This makes a degree of sense, keeping in mind that Saturn is the quintessential Diabolic force of astrology. The nature of Saturn is reflected in Venus Inversus, the black aspect of Venus, and the Saturnian Qlipha is the top of the Qliphoth’s left column, of which collumn the Mercurial Qlipha forms the base. Lucifer’s other counterpart, Lucifuge, may be a counterpart to Mesphito as well.

Lucifuge and Mesphito are the two great grimoiric initiators. The Qliphothic hierarchy used by the modern Black Lodge attributes Lucifuge to the Saturnian Qlipha, but a lesser-known hierarchy exists which assigns Lucifuge to leadership over the Sphere of the Black Sun.**** Lucifuge, being attributed to leadership of the Qliphothic Spheres of Saturn and the Black Sun, represents a far more advanced initiation than Mesphito, being identified as an emissary of the Qliphothic Spheres of Mercury and the Black Sun. However, both of them are, in terms of Qliphothic influence, a mixture of the Black-Solar Qlipha with the Pillar of Severity, so the fact that they play identical roles to one another in many medieval grimories makes a lot of sense.

****The hierarchy which attributes Lucifuge to Thagirion attributes Eisheth Zenunim to the Saturnian Qlipha. A modern Demonolater by the name of T.B. Scott has attributed Eisheth Zennunim to Thagirion, intimating a great similarity between the two Qliphas. Since the Qliphas of the Black Earth and Black Moon are both related to Lilith, whose true throne is in the Saturnian Qlipha, it makes sense for Thagirion to have a connection to Saturn as well).

In case you want a black metal song about Mesphito for your magickal work, here’s the one I personally use:

“I will always be your Best Friend. I will do what you have commanded.” -Amon’s words during the initial Goetic experiments of John R. King IV, which experiments were conducted in the traditional Judao-Christian fashion

Ammon is a Goetic Marquis whom Michael W. Ford describes as a “werewolf” and a “great initiatory force.” Rufus Opus describes Ammon as follows:

Amon is a watery spirit with a necromantic cast. He tells of things past and to come, procures love, reconciles controversies, and brings spirits of those who died within the sea to appear in bodies made of air, in which they will answer whatever questions you may have of them. If I were trying to find that fictional diamond from the movie Titanic, I’d use Amon to conjure Jack to reveal where it may have been.

According to S. Conolly, Amon can be called upon to help “bring emotions to a head so that they can be released as useful energy.” Amon can either start or reconcile interpersonal conflicts and aid the magickian in finding friends. He imparts wealth, luck, prosperity, familiars, and influence to the magickian.

Ammon gives aid in divination and helps the sorcerer get in touch with her True Will. His support is very desirable in workings regarding employment, monetary acquisition, and mundane pursuits in general. He gives assistance in shapeshifting, love spells, prophecy, execration, binding, love spells, pyromancy, Voudon, Voodoo, and dream work. J. Thorp calls him the “Demon of Domination.”

Amon originated as the Egyptian deity Amen/Amem, the hidden creator god called the “Invisible,” the god of wind, self-created king of gods, and god of mystery, known as the “Lord of the Silent.” He was later incorporated into Graeco-Roman Paganism under the name Amon. A tutelary god, he replaced Monthus as the patron deity of Thebes. He supported those who traveled in his name and was therefore deemed the “Protector of the Road.” Upholding justice for the poor, he was seen as a champion of the less fortunate. His followers were expected to confess their sins via prayer to him. The modern academic consensus regarding the origin of the Goetia attributes it to Greece, hence the deity’s name “Amon” in the Ars Goetia and its predecessor, the Pseudomonarchium Daemonum.

Egyptian Paganism depicted Amen as a blue-skinned male, which blue skin to denoted his invisibility, and records that rams and geese were his sacred symbols. As Amon-Kematef, Amen was a snake-formed creator god. This epithet, alternately Kamutef, means “Bull of his Mother.” The conception of Amon-Kematef derives from Amen’s absorption of the deity known as Min, whereby he became Amun-Min, depicted as ithyphallic and bearing a scourge.

While Amon was eventually syncretized with Ra, the two are not the same entity. However, they do sometimes unite as an amalgamate consciousness—something known as a “composite deity.”

Above: Sigil of Amon from the OFS Demonolatry Website

Traditional demonography records Amon manifesting in the form of a wolf, sometimes with a serpent’s tail and the ability to vomit fire. When he takes on the shape of a man, he has the head of either an owl or raven, and either way, has the teeth of a canine.

The owl, canine, serpent, and raven are all chthonic animals. Since Goetic demonography imputes Aamon to the moon, it would appear that the demonic-infernal manifestation of Amen is a chthonic and lunar aspect of the deity.

Aamon’s correspondences in Gematria, such as the Hebrew word for “Architect/Master Workman,” clearly ratify my claim that Amen and Aamon are aspects of the same divine force. The numerical value of his name corresponds to both Archangel and Edomite Monarch alike, suggesting the dual-ness of his nature. A Hebrew word which variously translates to “Religious Awe” and “Dread/Fear” clearly harkens to Rudolf Otto’s conception of the Numinous, wherein an experience of the Numinous (the supramundane/divine) is described as both terrible and wondrous. David Myatt elaborated upon Rudolf Otto’s conception, defining the Numinous as a reconciliation of dark and light.

His correspondences in Gematria are as follows:

97: the atomic number of berkelium; Mehetabel (King of Edom); Haniel (Archangel); Yellow/Gleaming; Artificer/Architect/Master Workman; Ring/Nose Ring/Earring; Burden/Forced Labor/Compulsory Service; Dread/Fear/Awe/Religious Awe; Filthy/Filth; To Shine/To Gleam

747: Ophanim (the Angelic Choir of Chokmah); Artificer/Architect/Master Workman; The Priest’s Blessing; His Being Guilty; And You Shall Proclaim

The Language of Enochian in Black Magick

I have studied three magickal languages to this date, first experimenting with Enochian vibration and recitation with results that verified the commendations of it conveyed by left-handed magickian Rob Stanley and Satanist Anton Long. In my use of Viridian tongue, I found it powerless and dull. In my study of the Ouranian language and my energetic sensing of the Ouranian names given for trusted divinities, I felt myself repulsed and thus disregarded the practice.

After asking our spirit guides whether or not Enochian script bore an intrinsic spiritual power and receiving a yes, I asked a number of other magickians via social media whether they agreed, with nearly all responders being of the Left Hand Path. A few experienced magickians confirmed my gnosis, as did a pair of new but gifted initiates, but the majority of experienced magickians who answered disagreed with what I had learned.

Most wrote that preference for or belief in the power of Enochian was the only source of its heightened potency. This view objects to the concept of magickal languages and fails to directly address Enochian. It is based on conjecture rather than a personal perceiveration (an instance of perceiving) of Enochian script. I view theirs as a flawed approach—conjecture has come to mean so little to me.

I tentatively think that the majority response I received is representative of the opinion held by the Black Lodge regarding Enochian, and I believe the blame for this is Anton LaVey. Anton LaVey reproduced the Enochian Calls of his predecessors in the Occult, replacing the names for Jehovah with a made-up “Enochian” title for Satan. Anton LaVey did not replace the many possessive adjectives such as “his” which were made to refer specifically to the Judao-Xian deity.

As a person who used to visualize Thurs runes impaling his astral opponents in psychic combat while vibrating the name of the wrong rune by mistake (Fehu), I know that such misarticulation still conveys the intent but obfuscates it regardless. The Enochian Calls were originally made to transport the celebrant via vision-journey (pathworking) to various spiritual realms entitled “the Towers,” and the names the Towers which the Calls originally linked to still appear in their LaVeyan reproductions.

LaVey’s calls, then, call upon Satan by names of Jehovah and attempt to manifest arbitrarily assigned results by calling upon a gnostic state and the energy of the plane of who-knows-what. Whatever resides in these mystery realms is of uncertain relationship to the Devil and Sinistral (LHP) sorcery as a whole.

Since Enochian was introduced to the Black Lodge in a bastardized form, we have a good reason to suspect that whatever opinion most Satanists hold of Enochian is misinformed.  Various partisans of Sinistral magick, including Baron and Baronessa Araignee, Oizus, the Joy of Satan Ministries (don’t hit me), Frederick Nagash, Anton Long, and the Vatra Nexion, have upheld Enochian as a magickally respectable language, in confirmation of the perceiverances (instances of perceiving) recorded by the forefathers of the Black Lodge. Consider the following:

  • The Occult consensus imputes intrinsic magickal power to Enochian.
  • There is a decent number of unrelated black magickians and groups which have confirmed the Occult consensus.
  • The opposition to the consensus is (a) based in non-perceiverance and (b) misinformed by LaVey.

Here are four easy, fill-in-the-blank Enochian phrases for ritual, which may be incorporated in a build-a-rite sort of way or appended to pre-existent rituals for experimentation.

Ol Oecremi Isli, Ol Um Isli, Sa Ol Zodameta, NAME
[I praise thee, I call thee, and I conjure thee, NAME]

NAME, Arphe Odzamran Pambt, Bagle Zirdo Hoath O Il Odlonshin A Iadanah
[NAME, descend and appear unto me, for I am a true worshipper of thy powers and divine knowledge]

Ol Oecremi NAME Ca Ol Noasmi Saga A Tia/Tilb!
[I praise NAME as I become one with him/her!]

Solpeth Bien Sa Zorge Micalzo NAME
[Enochian: Hearken unto my voice and be friendly unto me, mighty NAME]

And here are Nytek’s Enochian chants for circle casting:

RA-ASA-EE NAME[In the East is NAME]
TORR-ZOO ZAH-CARR OH-DAH ZAMARAN RA-ASA [Arise. Move, and appear in the East]

SO-BO-ELN-EE NAME [In the West is NAME]
TORR-ZOO ZAH-CARR ZAMARAN SO-BO-ELN [Arise. Move, and appear in the West]

LOO-KAH-ELN-EE NAME [In the South is NAME]
TORR-ZOO ZAH-CARR ZAMARAN LOO-KAH-ELN [Arise. Move, and appear in the South]

BA-BA-GEE EE NAME [In the North is NAME]
TORR-ZOO ZAH-CARR ZAMARAN BA-BA-GEE [Arise. Move, and appear in the North]

Here is a self-empowerment rite which strongly incorporates Enochian script:

And here is a ritual of invocation consisting mainly of Enochian:

Here is my favorite of the four Enochian dictionaries I’ve studied:

Here is a much shorter dictionary with many words the first dictionary didn’t have:

Witchcraft: the Consecration of Ritual Implements

The witch may be inclined to purge the item to be consecrated of any spiritual energies it may have previously accumulated. To do so, she should fill a glass or other receptacle with water and put a few specs of salt therein. The object should be dipped in the water, whereupon the witch whispers “I divest this _____ of any pre-existent energies,” or any phrase to this effect.

An object may be consecrated solely through the repeated use of it in ritual, or it may be left atop a window ceil so as to let it bask in the light of the moon. Prior to a cycle of lunar saturation, the witch should familiarize herself with the magickal effects of the moon, which vary according to cycle: waning, waxing, full, dark, blood. Google this and peruse the pages of any Wiccan text (you may find that those cheap Wiccan books they sell in Barnes and Noble are often storehouses of much knowledge concerning practical witchcraft).

Alternately, the auspices of a deity may be elicited. The witch may evoke one or more entities and ask them to enchant the object. This is most appropriate if you have multiple implements and/or pieces of jewelry which you would like to have enchanted, preferably for a specified effect. You can indeed enchatnt anything– I have a toy leopard enchanted to empower my rites of evocation. I also have an umbrella with magickal numbers and words of power relevant to necromancy drawn all over it. A covenmate and I were once meditating in a graveyard to commune with the dead when the umbrella fell over and bumbed his shoulder. He grabbed my shoulder and yelled “A BAT!”

The manta LEPACA KOHOT HA-RESHUT HA-RABBIM calls upon Lepaca (the Demon of Opening) to help you bring forth a few infernal spirits, i.e. the “forces” [Kohot] of the Qliphoth [Reshut Ha-Rabbim/Kingdom of Manifoldness]. It was specifically written to consist of eleven syllables, as eleven is the number of the demonic.

Alternatively, one may simply vibrate the various names of a certain entity to empower the object though its auspices. The names of Lucifuge Rofocale are appropriate (Lucifage, Lucerifuge, Lucifugus Rofocalus), as are the names of Cain (Qabeel, Qayin, Diaphotos, Adiaphotos, Mahan).

Unrelated: Have you heard of Hecate’s hunting call? It serves to call up Hecate’s hounds, which are very useful in astral combat. It comes from The Vision and the Voice by Aleister Crowley: “Untu La La Ulula Umuna Tofa Lama Le Li Na Ahr Ima Tahara Elula Etfoma Ununa Arpeti Ulu Ulu Ulu Maraban Ululu Mahata Ulu Ulu Lamastana!”

I did a ritual with a couple friends on Halloween where we called up several different kinds of Hekate’s spirits, kunes aidao [hounds of the underworld] included. We indistinguishably heard one barking in a pitch that sounded comparable to a crow’s voice as it ran around the chamber, apparently raising sacred space for the ritual.

Also unrelated: I know Satan is just a word for “Adversary,” but are you aware that many other entity names that are technically words or titles? Allah, Ba’al, El, Molock, Adi Parashakti, Adonai, Mammon, Luna, Sulpae, and Saturn, to name a few.
