The Ritual of Legion

{This ritual summons Lepaca, the Demon of Opening, and works with him to astrally presence a very large number of demons for the purpose of self-empowerment. The witch begins with the opening of the ritual, which opening creates a sacred space by raising Qliphothic energy, summons Lepaca, calls on multiple demons to strengthen the ritual, and then works with Lepaca to evoke multiple Qliphothic demons (in that order). Thereafter, the witch recites a hymn which entreats Chavajoth (the Azerate), the draconic meta-god composed of the 72 demons of the Goetia, the Nine Demonic Divinities of the Dukante Hierarchy, and the 22 archdemons of the Tunnels of Set to empower the witch. Five optional segments follow, and the witch may perform whichever and however many of these she will perform, if any. Lastly, a series of miscellanious and optional demon-summoning chants is provided for the witch to choose from. It is the prerogative of the witch to decide which materials, sigils, equipment, music, etc. she wants to incorporate into her performance of this ritual, if any. Phrases in italics are to be chanted. The name vibration formulas appear in bold with +’s separating each individual vibration. English translations appear in brackets and explanations appear in parentheses. This ritual incorporates magickal formulae and words of power from Modern Demonolatry by S. Conolly, the corpuses of Dragon Rouge, the Order of the Nine Angles, the 218 Current (including Liber Azerate and The Book of Sitra Ahra), The True Red Book of AppinThe Book of Mephisto by Asenath Mason, my original literature, and the literature of Daemon Barzai. This is an advanced ritual, so be prepared}

Cloud Evocation

Someone sent me a photograph which purportedly depicts the result of an experimental method of evocation. The operator, whom I am not acquainted with, allegedly evoked Belial into a cloud instead of into incense or cigarette smoke. This operation clearly took place during a sunset. The sun sets red because red is the color that travels the farthest.

This is the photo I was sent.

This could be a hoax, but if you’re a sorcerer, you should be able to look at this image and tune into your psychic senses to discern the veracity of the claim.

Do you see any black figures on the road?

Ralasan/Basmijael is the counterpart of Lilith’s daughter Qalilitu. He’s a Sovereign Archduke under Amaimon who is attributed to Sagittarius. He is highly knowledgable, wise, and articulate, and is sometimes eager to impress the operator (which I have never seen him fail to do). Despite this trait, it is extremely uncommon for him to act clingy with humans.

The only book wherein he is recorded, being Goetic Evocation by Steve Savedow, documents a coercive evocation of Basmijael. After Basmijael gives a far more informative response than expected or necessary, whereby he impresses the operator, he says that he will teach the operator if he is released from bondage. After the operator refuses and rebukes Basmijael, the demon refuses to be of any service and sticks around in the operator’s residence for days to be troublesome out of spite. With this said, I have found Basmijael to be very kind.

Basmijael can bring about many different transformations of the soul, alchemically refining it through the power of Venus Illegetima, preparing one for advanced necromantic operations and encounters and thus preparing one to take up the office of psychopomp and medium. He can give the celebrant power over the art of sorcery and impart unorthodox but efficacious techniques and tips for evocation. He can animate corpses and gather groups of animated corpses. Basmijael can attend to material/monetary concerns and cause persons to fall in love. He can bestow eloquence unto the celebrant, especially eloquence in speech.

While being aligned with the Infernal Divine and being mostly demonic in nature, Basmijael is a fallen angel.

Ralasan/Basmijael can give aid in matters of philosophy, welding, math, psychology, biology, automobile mechanics, and philosophy. He can improve both long-term and short-term memory, get you laid, and He can give aid in death curses, vampyric execration, healing spells, shadowmancy, the pursuit of past life gnosis, all chakra work, mind tricks, legal issues, money spells, and the improvement of one’s natural psychic defenses. He is also knowledgeable regarding the Eleusinian Mysteries.

Ralasan can teach the sorceress to shapeshift her astral double into a bat, dragon, or ghoul. He can alleviate addiction, mental barriers, insecurity, and digestive problems. He can impart maturity and cause someone to lose all their friends. He can teach one to interpret or become lucid in dreams.

Basmijael can impart teachings about necromancy and the secrets of nature. His guidance is apt for destructive curses or binding one’s enemy as well as fortifying a location against intrusion (physical or astral). He can teach knot/rope magick and strengthen the witch’s focus. He can bind, coerce, exorcise, or devour ghosts.

Witchcraft: the Consecration of Ritual Implements

The witch may be inclined to purge the item to be consecrated of any spiritual energies it may have previously accumulated. To do so, she should fill a glass or other receptacle with water and put a few specs of salt therein. The object should be dipped in the water, whereupon the witch whispers “I divest this _____ of any pre-existent energies,” or any phrase to this effect.

An object may be consecrated solely through the repeated use of it in ritual, or it may be left atop a window ceil so as to let it bask in the light of the moon. Prior to a cycle of lunar saturation, the witch should familiarize herself with the magickal effects of the moon, which vary according to cycle: waning, waxing, full, dark, blood. Google this and peruse the pages of any Wiccan text (you may find that those cheap Wiccan books they sell in Barnes and Noble are often storehouses of much knowledge concerning practical witchcraft).

Alternately, the auspices of a deity may be elicited. The witch may evoke one or more entities and ask them to enchant the object. This is most appropriate if you have multiple implements and/or pieces of jewelry which you would like to have enchanted, preferably for a specified effect. You can indeed enchatnt anything– I have a toy leopard enchanted to empower my rites of evocation. I also have an umbrella with magickal numbers and words of power relevant to necromancy drawn all over it. A covenmate and I were once meditating in a graveyard to commune with the dead when the umbrella fell over and bumbed his shoulder. He grabbed my shoulder and yelled “A BAT!”

The manta LEPACA KOHOT HA-RESHUT HA-RABBIM calls upon Lepaca (the Demon of Opening) to help you bring forth a few infernal spirits, i.e. the “forces” [Kohot] of the Qliphoth [Reshut Ha-Rabbim/Kingdom of Manifoldness]. It was specifically written to consist of eleven syllables, as eleven is the number of the demonic.

Alternatively, one may simply vibrate the various names of a certain entity to empower the object though its auspices. The names of Lucifuge Rofocale are appropriate (Lucifage, Lucerifuge, Lucifugus Rofocalus), as are the names of Cain (Qabeel, Qayin, Diaphotos, Adiaphotos, Mahan).

Unrelated: Have you heard of Hecate’s hunting call? It serves to call up Hecate’s hounds, which are very useful in astral combat. It comes from The Vision and the Voice by Aleister Crowley: “Untu La La Ulula Umuna Tofa Lama Le Li Na Ahr Ima Tahara Elula Etfoma Ununa Arpeti Ulu Ulu Ulu Maraban Ululu Mahata Ulu Ulu Lamastana!”

I did a ritual with a couple friends on Halloween where we called up several different kinds of Hekate’s spirits, kunes aidao [hounds of the underworld] included. We indistinguishably heard one barking in a pitch that sounded comparable to a crow’s voice as it ran around the chamber, apparently raising sacred space for the ritual.

Also unrelated: I know Satan is just a word for “Adversary,” but are you aware that many other entity names that are technically words or titles? Allah, Ba’al, El, Molock, Adi Parashakti, Adonai, Mammon, Luna, Sulpae, and Saturn, to name a few.

Amprodias is the Qliphothic archdemon that you go to when you wish to be transformed into a stone-cold vampyric warrior. His name translates to “Great Vampyric Sylph.” The gaping mouth in his original sigil, depicted above, symbolizes the uterus wherefrom aeons are given birth and the Black Light issues forth.

Amprodias is a harsh teacher. He appeared to my newest apprentice as a massive bat without a face. While he is a hermaphrodite by nature, he often manifests as male. Archetypally speaking, he is the primeval ungendered vampyric adversary– the devouring force of the primordial chaos wherefrom all of creation emerged.

Amprodias rules the power of suggestion and exerts control over the mind, memories, thoughts, and consciousness. He imparts the knowledge of psychic and sanguine vampyrism alike. He can instruct the magickian in the performance of ‘mind tricks.’ He specializes in the art of remote viewing and he teaches the sorcerer to peer beyond the causality of the Cosmos. With the support and/or guidance of Amprodias, the magickian can perceive anything in the universe.

Amprodias gives gnosis about the transpersonal chakras and his auspices are useful in the creation of predatory vampyric thoughtforms. He imparts gnosis regarding the essential nature and magickal application of Qliphothic forces. He rules the forces of manifestation, chaos, and amplification and he presides over spiritual immortality.

Amprodias can increase the physical reflexes of the witch and and augment her slow-twitch muscle fibers. He can permanently modify the Satanist’s personality. He can make the witch courageous in conflict, quick-witted in terms of analysis, persuasive in conversation, and grant the interpersonal skills required for leadership and the arousal of dissent.

Amprodias can engender the distortion of perception and reality alike, and he can be called on to transport spiritual energies from one place to another. He can alter spiritual energies in accordance with a given intent and bring about the reversal of spells. He specializes in wind magick, divination, and the use of psychic vampyrism in psychometry. He can remove addictions, inhibitions, phobias, delusions, and he can cause the witch to think more objectively.

Amprodias is a fan of the “Fourth Way” philosophy instructed by G.I. Gurdjieff and P.D. Ouspensky.

Amprodias presides over one of the Tunnels of Set– the trails between the realms of the Qliphoth. To be specific, Amprodias’s tunnel is located between Thaumiel (Satan & Molock/Pluto & Neptune) and Ghagiel (Baelzebuth/Uranus)– the very same tunnel which Kenneth Grant said the greatest magickians “traffic” with constantly. We are referring here to the eleventh pathway: the Qliphothic equivalent of the Akashic records wherefrom all manner of knowledge can be accessed. Amprodias’s tunnel is the house of divination wherein trickster fairies dwell.

Regarding the eleventh Tunnel of Set, Linda Falorio writes:

A need to work with the energies of Amprodias may be signaled by our experience of sorrow at the cruelty of Nature, by our feeling of despair at its inherent meaninglessness, and by our lacking of perspective and humor when faced with grim reality. On the other end of the scale we may encounter in ourselves or others feelings of contempt for the unenlightened masses, a detachment from ordinary human sorrows, and aloofness from mundane concerns. Thus feeling bored, stuck, restless, and rootless, yet fearing change, we feel apprehension of the future which results in blind clinging to the security of mundane routine.

Too much unbalanced working here may ultimately result in fragmentation of the ego, in brain-fevered deliriums, perhaps addictions to hyped-up, hypertrophied manic states, which result in high blood pressure, burn out, and exhaustion, especially of the type associated with the effects of repeated extraterrestrial contacts upon the human nervous system.

Yet if allowed to flow unimpeded by such destructive attitudes, the energy of this 11th Tunnel accelerates our vibratory vitality, enabling us to glimpse alien consciousnesses resident in parallel dimensions, operating at such velocities that we are normally unaware of their existence. Through such accelerated vibratory consciousness, we achieve greatly heightened powers of perception, giving insight into outré mathematics and alternative non-Euclidean geometries and transdimensional realities.

In the Tunnel of Amprodias we are able to mind-meld with transhuman entities, and to “speak in tongues. Here is true laughter, which is the safeguard of sanity; here is healthy release of tension through the bioenergetic circuit of excitation> tension> release> relaxation> JOY!Here is freedom of thought, energy, courage, and the independence to pursue one’s Will.

Falorio continues:

The trance of this tunnel is “The Universal Joke,” i.e.: There is no meaning in existence, the universe is pure caprice,  it is nothing more nor less than an immense practical joke played on its hapless victims. Here, the irrational, taken to the limits of absurdity results in perfect freedom. “Loosening the girders of the soul,” the normal chains of cause-effect that bind us to mundane reality, that bind us into the conscious life of the human species, no longer obtain. Thus we float airily above reality freed of prejudice, unclouded by illusion, and able to objectively perceive pure Essence.

The Proper Mindset for Evocation (Summoning)

It was originally an archangel by the name of Michael who helped me hammer out the kinks in my method of evocation. He taught me to focus on feeling two emotions within myself and to concentrate both on feeling those emotions and on the ritual effort at hand.

I don’t know whether it was a lesson in humility or an attempt at breaking down my ego [causal illusion of self-understanding], but the method he went about this was Biblical scripture. The seventh verse of the first chapter of Second Timothy is forever present in my ritual chamber/bedroom because of this:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-discipline.”

The first emotion which I concentrate on experiencing is a feeling of love for whichever divinity I intend to evoke. If love is not conducive to the working at hand (or is merely embarrassing to the sorcerer), it may be replaced with feelings of respect, admiration, trust (and/or feelings of safety in the entity’s presence), or with concentrating on how badass the spirit you’re summoning is.

Remind yourself that the being you are working with is an incredibly ancient, wise, and powerful entity, and take care to respect them as such.

The second emotion which I concentrate on experiencing is power. This is a feeling of self-assurance, of aplomb, and/or of absolute safety in the act of witchcraft, is another important step, which should follow the first. Focus on love and power simultaneously, starting with love.

The aspect of the proper mindset for evocation is self-discipline: the act of concentrating completely as possible on the ritual task at hand. I concentrate completely on my feelings of love for the entity, and upon the rapture of my own self-assurance, and on the ritual tasks, chants, and visualizations at hand. This is the proper mindset whether you summon Archangels, Mahavidyas, the Undead Gods, the Nekalah, the Azerate, Goetic Demons, and all of the other kinds of beings I’ve summoned.
