Introduction to the Rite Which Follows
This rite was designed to replace my Simple Rite to Become a Satanist. This is a rite of initiation into demon magick, which rite was designed to be applicable to any adherent to any tradition of demon magick (Demonolatry, Satanism, Chaos-Gnosticism, Luciferianism, etc.). It is a simple rite which can be performed successfully without using any sigils or equipment. If you struggle with the pronunication of the magickal chants used herein, just sound them out the best you can and know that your efforts are sufficient. If you feel that you have fucked up the ritual in one way or another, you may pray to Satan to perfect the rite.
This ritual calls upon five demons, namely Belial, Gargophias, Astaroth, Lucifuge Rofocale, and Mephistophiles/Mesphito. It will be of use to do some preliminary research regarding these spirits, so I am providing links to my articles about all five of them below:
This ritual serves to formalize and magickally manifest the beginning of your journey into demon magick. I find formal rites of initiation into the magickal paradigms I intend to pursue to be very useful, as have the many covenmates and apprentices I have had over the years before I took my Craft in a more solitary direction. The benefits which will accompany the performance of this rite will vary by person, and may be surprising.
You can wear whatever you want when you perform this rite. Some people may prefer to perform it naked, symbolizing honesty before the Numinous as well as new beginnings. Others may want to wear all black clothing, even to the degree of setting aside a specific black outfit for ritual use. Some may wish to be barefoot. Make your own decision, and as with all things magickal, follow your intuition.
If possible, face the North, the direction of the Infernal.
Translations of magickal chants and foreign phrases will appear in brackets. Phrases which appear in italics are meant to be repeatedly chanted in a rhythmic monotone, and names which appear in bold are meant to be vibrated, with each name being separated by a +. If you don’t know how to vibrate names, just say each name four times one by one.
If you are worried that someone will discover you performing this rite, you may simply whisper or mouth the words of the ritual, or even just say them in your head. In fact, some people find that they get better results when saying their spells, chants, words of power, etc. in their heads.
Know that it is extremely rare for two people to have the same experience with the same ritual. Your experience will be your own.

Naked works the best. There is also a difference with drawing sigils with a pen or using a self-prepared ink, made of powdered charcoal (electric conductor, carbon life), own blood (iron, YOU calling the spirit) and a potion boiled down that is made of the herbs that the spirit prefers. Works way stronger. Imagine Lucifer with a Edding in his hand. Looks somewhat twisted…

Lilith is wonderful but I do not consider her a necessary component of an initiation into demon magick. The original “Simple Rite to Become a Satanist” did not include her either.
This time, when I created the Rite of Initiation into Demon Magick, I thought to myself, which demons are most popular? Which demons would most people want to see in this rite? Surely, Belial, Lucifer Satan, Lilith…
But I said fuck that. Let’s make this from the heart. Which demons would I want to include? Gargophias was a must– Lucifuge and Mephistophiles were PERFECT, and those familiar with the medieval grimoiric tradition know damn well how appropriate they are. I did choose to put Belial in there as well– he’s such a great protector and initiator. And of course, Astaroth is the demonic representative of one of the potentially most significant deific forces in all of magick.

Hey VK I did everything. Sure I may have pronounced some words wrong but still nothing happened. I lit no candles, had no sigils maybe that’s why. But nothing was ever said on your website. But either way how do I know the spirits heard me?

What did you expect? Satan to open the gates of hell and pat you on the back? In my opinion V.K feel free to call me out if im wrong but i think that this rite is supposed to be more you showing yourself and the demons that you commit yourself to them. They may not do anything but dont assume they didn’t hear you. Perhaps give blood to futher your faith in them or if that doesn’t sit well with you give an offering

Sometimes rituals appear to fail. Just try to believe it succeeded. Nothing spectacular happened when I initiated so many years ago. At least, not during or immediately following the rite. But an internal change occurred. The spirits saw my intention and devotion. And suddenly, I was far, far better at martial arts.

I just wanted to make a statement regarding baptism and first communion: in my experience and opinion, ritualistic forms of Christianity like Roman Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy are themselves a form of magick that can awaken psychic senses and prime a person for other magickal arts.

I did this initiation rite last night. I did a cleansing of myself with sage, bells and florida water. Then I did a little breathing to get myself relaxed. I then started doing the chants and ritual. I felt like a heavy presence around me and tingling. I get this when I connect spiritually. I haven’t felt that for quite a long time. After the ritual I sat down and meditated. I saw a tunnel, looked like a vaginal tunnel, with the fleshly sides and sharp teeth on the sides. I then saw a dark feminine figure walk toward me. I couldn’t seem to get further than that. This morning I pulled a rune and got Eihwaz. From what I understand this is the yew tree and can stand for rebirth, transformation, death etc. Any insight into all this would be great!

may I suggest that if you don’t “immediately feel” anything. Your request wasn’t ignored but it has to travel, think of it as Spiritual Snail Mail-Do you personally have blocks to work through? Are you blocking your own spiritual success, especially through fear?

I definitely have done this naked. My experience is somewhat mild. I didn’t get the words down but I feel a major pulse in my third eye and surge of energy within myself. After I finished the ritual, I meditated naked afterwords. I felt bliss, I felt there’s an interest between me and Gargaphias. Definitely a good ritual for beginners. It’s like my doubts were gone.

Hello V.K I did the ritual after 12 at night and during the prayers I felt a tremendous panic for a moment, that made me feel guilty, because I practice witchcraft and that does not usually happen to me. Even so I continued the ritual until the end, I hope that the panic had not affected the ritual, I also lost count of the times I repeated the phrases in italics, should I repeat the ritual? I feel it is done. I hope you can help me, thanks.

Hey V.K. I had never performed this ritual but have worked with Demons, to the best of my ability, for 1-2 years now. I JUST finished this ritual no more than a few minutes ago naked. I have to say I have never felt the way I do now: I feel electrified and almost like I could cry out of joy? It’s kind of dramatic but that sheer euphoria and intensity I felt when I specifically performed this ritual made my feet burn, my eyes were shut but it almost felt as if I were looking back at something–though I cannot discern it.
I’m tying this while still feeling unbelievably waves of fucking intense ass emotions. Thank you for posting this, seriously.

I did the ritual at 3am. And I’m gonna do it another two times. I have a good feeling but I’m not 100% sure if it was successful. I want to do a fuck ton of your rituals on a weekly or daily basis but not before I’m initiated. Can you let me know it was successful or not so this anxiety of failure can leave my mindset.

I have a question. I did the ritual, by myself, naked, at 3:30 AM. I also used candles, blood and red wine. I also wrote my own prayer to Satan because I want the demons to know that I am willing to work with them and that I am authentic. The red candle on the east side was flickering, particularly when I was chanting Agios Ischyros Lucifuge. Can you tell me the meaning behind this? I am new but a very willing practitioner of Magick.

Just because alot of you didn’t feel anything afterwards does not mean the ritual didn’t work. Slot of times u will get no sign right away u have to learn to believe in yourself and your capability before doing Magick because all the self doubt u guys have is a big part as to why u don’t get results and dobt feel anything after u have to learn to be more patient when it comes to Magick and rituals etc they not gonna pop up and be like dude were here and u were just initiated cmon now it dobt work like that at least not usually itsmore subtle just have patience and believe in the impossible. If u did it correctly then believe it worked u are now initiated and forget about it that’s it! Hope that helps….. 😉
