Malphas can turn the Satanist into a powerful black magickian. He imparts a “by any means necessary” mentality when it comes to the pursuit of your True Will, Satanic agendas, etc. He can increase the personality traits of motivation and initiative. He gives the sorceress strength in pursuing her initiatives. He can reveal the thoughts, actions, and desires of a specified individual to the witch.

Malpas is skillful in architecture and demolition. He overwhelms his targets completely by eradicating their desires, thoughts, and achievements, and he can gather professionals of a specified kind from across long distances. He can protect the witch or a specified location or overwhelm a target by destroying their hopes, thoughts, and/or achievements.

He can give the witch the ability to perform divination with flawless accuracy, and he also bestows the ability to perfectly remember the astral journeys she takes during the hours of sleep. He gives the ability to perfectly remember dreams and attain lucidity within them.

Malphas can alter the astral double by giving it vampyric talons. While Malphas can empower all of the witch’s chakras (as can all demons), his specialty is the heart chakra (called Anahat or Anahata).

Malphas is the son of Andras. The two of them manifested alongside one another once recently to give me support and advice.

The number of his legions is 40, which corresponds in Gematria to the Hebrew words for offspring/child, water, “and in the heart,” border/landmark, tear away/seize/rob, violence, violent perverting, border, set bounds, deal corruptly, bring forth, to loathe/abhor, to hurt/destroy, robbery, thing taken away by violence, pledge, rope, sailor/seaman, “to his heart,” milk, lamb, secrecy/mystery. 40 also corresponds to the numerical value of the 13th Hebrew letter (Mem).

The first appearance I witnessed was that of an anthropoid bird. Most of his feathers were brilliant red, though the ones lining the small wings attached to his arms were yellow and green. The second appearance was as an extremely muscular and pale man with black eyes. His short brown hair was in a buzzcut and his raiment was black. He had long, slim black claws and feathery black wings.

Valefor teaches the witch how to manipulate, charm, and preserve the loyalty of her acquaintances. He is associated with protection, psychic vampyrism, astral projection, and dreams.  He hunts and destroys the angels which further the aims of the White Lodge. He can impart the sorcerous powers conducive to magickal warfare. He can also alter the astral double to make it fit for astral combat. He can be called upon for exorcisms, especially of angels.

According to the traditional lore on the spirits of the Goetia, Valefor led people into thievery and abandoned them at the hanging noose. Of course, the modern Satanist can interpret this as the ability to bring about death.

Valefor can turn the witch into a black and horrific predator, as he himself is a predatory warrior of Hell. He can ensure the success of assassinations and homicides. He also helps hide the corpse. Valefor destroys the spirits attacking the witch and can drastically increase the longevity and durability of magickal energies, curses, consecrations, enchantments, etc. He teaches stealth and deception and he can make the witch cunning.

Valefor can grant the sorceress the ability to sense missing items and he can instruct her in the art of psychometry. He can teach the Satanist to see into the astral realm at will. His specialties are thievery, refining dexterity and hand-eye coordination, breaking bad habits, increasing mental acuity, self-esteem, feeling like you’re in control, overcoming personal limitations, enjoyment and pleasure, and initiation.

According to Rufus Opus, “He and his legionnaires tend to make good “fetches” for witches, that is, they are good short-range eyes-and-ears, useful for gathering information about where there might be some local spiritual resources for whatever you’re working on, getting small amounts of cash to fund magical projects, and for finding places to purchase obscure occult items required for diverse spellcraft.”

Valefor is a master of occult medicine, and it’s said that he can heal the witch of any ailment via witchcraft.

Valefor told me personally that he is affiliated with the second star in the Capricorn constellation– namely Dabih, the Sacred Star of the Slaughterer. According to the Order of the Nine Angles, this star, an eclipsing binary with a third star that orbits around the central pair, is one of the locations of the star gates through which spiritual energy floods into the Cosmos from outside of it (the other two nearby star gates are at Saturn and another eclipsing binary by the name of Ra’s al-Ghul or Beta Persei). Dabih has an astrological influence comparable to a mixture of Venus and Saturn, which is cool as fuck, because Valefor told me this before I read about Valefor’s traditional planetary affiliations.

Satanism is not a Reaction to Christianity

There are several major Satanic traditions practiced by the world at large, and certain ill-formed and poorly-researched commentators have alleged that Satanism derives from or is a reaction to Christianity or related religions.

In reality, Satanism is not a progression from Christianity– it’s a progression from Occidental/Occult spirituality. By this I mean Thelema, the Typhonian tradition, Discordianism, etc. In addition to these, the philosophies of Jung, Nietzsche, and Myatt have all made significant contributions to the Satanic weltanschauungen.

While Hebrew lore plays a part in shaping the beliefs of the Satanist, the Biblical canon is inferior in the extent of its influence to Jewish Mysticism, the apocrypha, Gnosticism, etc. That’s easily proveable: ask any Satanist what Leviathan is, and they will tell you that Leviathan is the primeval aspect of Sathanas as the dragon of Tehom. If you were to ask a Christian the same question, she would tell you that the Leviathan is an extinct species of fire-breathing crocodiles, because this is what the Biblical canon describes the Leviathan as being. The same question can be asked about Qayin (Cain) with similar results.

Remember also that many Satanists equate Satan with pre-existent deities: Marduk, Enki, Tiamat, Set, and Ahriman, for example. This adds to Satanism’s list of contributing literature further, and further shrinks the influence of Christianity.
