The original swastika, called a “fylfot” or “fylfat” in Old English, was used in the religions of countless cultures as an auspicious symbol. The fylfot has various different connotations amongst different groups. To some, it symbolized the power of the Aesir. To others, it symbolizes Kether. Others attribute it to the sun, Thor’s thunderous hammer, submission to divine providence, Yahweh, etc. A celestial theme develops.
The Nazis’ variate of the swastika symbolized, in the words of Hitler, “the mission of the struggle for the victory of the Aryan man, and, by the same token, the victory of the idea of creative work.” Furthermore, it symbolized, according to the same man, “the creative, effecting life.” Lastly, Hitler said that the Nazi swastika, called often a Hakenkreuz [hook cross], was a sign of the Aryan race, this being any Caucasian of non-Jewish descent.
“In the vastness of space Thor is Trudgalmer (sound of Thor), the sustaining energy (Fohat of Oriental philosophy) that organizes cosmos out of chaos and sets the galactic pinwheels churning. Trud or Thor is the impelling force which keeps atoms in motion and, like the Hindu Vishnu, maintains all things in action during their lifetimes. The hammer of Thor is Mjolnir (miller), the pulverizing force that destroys as well as creates. It is the electric circuit which always returns to the hand that sent it forth. Symbolized by the svastika, either three- or four-armed, it represents whirling motion, the ever moving power which never ceases while anything lives in time and space.” -Elsa-Brita Titchenell
“As a solar symbol, the swastika is properly thought of as spinning, and the Buddhists have always believed the symbol attracted luck. The Sanskrit word ‘svastika’ means good fortune and well being. According to Cabbalistic lore and occult theory, chaotic force can be evoked by reversing the symbol. And so the symbol appeared as the flag of Nazi Germany and the insignia of the Nazi party, an indication for those who had eyes to see, as to the occult nature of the Third Reich.” -The White Order of the Thule
The reversal of this symbol would then be an instance of mimesis.
“Mimesis in its basic form is to mimic, and/or adopt and change, with sinister intent, some work/text/ritual/music or whatever and to capture, alter and use the energies that the original form may have used or captured. A classic example here is the genuine Black Mass, which is a mimesis of a Nazarene Mass.” -Anton Long
Another useful description of this process is found in Liber Azerate:”Thus, corrupting powerful/influential causal forms through the implantation of sinister ideas and images helps facilitate the direction of the dark acausal energies and is part of Satan’s work.”
So the use of the hakenkreuz for Satanic witchcraft is entirely supported by our knowledge of the Occult. Thus various Satanists have re-purposed the hakenkreuz for black magick. What follows is a list of different applications which Frater Kafyrfos, Aka Paimon, and the 218 Current have postulated for the hakenkreuz.
-A symbol of the Serpent of Eden
-A symbol of warfare against Heaven
-A tool to bring about the apocalypse
-Satanic awakening and evolution
-Blaspheming Yahweh and praising Chavajoth/Havayoth/Azerate
-Opening the Gates to Hell
The Hakenkreuz relates to Fenris, Chavajoth, Thaumiel, the Black Sun, and Chaos.
